A slim polished nickel stem tapers from a wide flared foot up to a taupe drum shade, the whole piece lifted on a clear crystal disc.

The stem narrows sharply from a wide flared base into a slender neck, finished in bright polished nickel rather than a warmer metal, then flares again into a taupe fabric drum shade topped with a small ball finial. The narrow-necked, teardrop-like profile is the whole point of the piece. A clear crystal disc sits under the metal base, lifting the whole lamp slightly and catching the light at floor level. At 36 x 77cm this is the taller of two sizes.

Where it works: a bedside table, a living room console, or paired either side of a sofa.

What comes in the box is listed on every product page under What is included. Most fittings arrive without a bulb so you can choose the brightness and warmth yourself. Some carry an integrated LED instead, and a few items are a shade or a bulb on their own.
