A slim black tube that rises from a round backplate, turns over the top and drops back down to an exposed gold holder, with the bulb left completely on show.

There is no shade at all, so the lamp you choose is the product. A clear teardrop filament sits in the holder as a warm amber object, and anything plain in there will look plain. The arm is a fine round section tube, brushed rather than polished, finished in black, with a contrasting gold lamp holder at the top. It continues past the backplate and down below it to a blunt tail, which is what keeps the silhouette from looking top heavy. The backplate is a plain black disc with two small fixings on show. It projects very little from the wall, so it suits a hallway or a stair where a fitting cannot stick out.

Where it works: in a bedroom beside a bed, along a hallway, or up a stairwell where a shallow fitting is the only thing that will fit.

The fitting is cheap and the bulb is not. A decent decorative filament lamp will cost a meaningful fraction of the light itself, so plan for that.

What comes in the box is listed on every product page under What is included. Most fittings arrive without a bulb so you can choose the brightness and warmth yourself. Some carry an integrated LED instead, and a few items are a shade or a bulb on their own.

If you need conformity documentation for a particular fitting, ask before you order and we will request it from the supplier. We do not make a blanket compliance claim across the range, because the paperwork varies by item.
