Tabas Wall Light

A short cylinder built from vertical faceted crystal bars, mounted close to the wall on a plain round black plate, throwing cut light onto the wall around it. Sold as a set of two.

Each bar is cut with a stepped profile and set upright side by side around the shade, so the glass breaks the light into hard vertical stripes and scatters it across the wall rather than diffusing it. That pattern is most of what you are buying. Unlit, the crystal reads as a solid faceted block and the whole thing is small and quiet. The backplate and the collar are powder coated flat black, a deliberate contrast that keeps the eye on the glass. It sits tight to the wall with almost no projection, which is why it suits a narrow hallway or a headboard wall.

Where it works: at bedside height either side of a bed, in a bedroom above a chest of drawers, or along a hallway where a fitting cannot project far.

What comes in the box is listed on every product page under What is included. Most fittings arrive without a bulb so you can choose the brightness and warmth yourself. Some carry an integrated LED instead, and a few items are a shade or a bulb on their own.
