A painted metal dome pendant light in wine red, the half sphere shade hiding a smaller inner ball so the light leaves the fitting as a soft glowing ring rather than a bare bulb.

The dome and its smaller inner ball are spun metal in a matching gloss wine red finish, so the join between the two nearly disappears and what you see from below is the glow escaping the gap rather than the lamp itself. This 23cm pendant is sized to hang on its own, whether as a single drop over a small table or one point in a cluster of the same dome at staggered heights.

Where it works: in a row over a dining room table, or singly in a living room corner where the colour can carry a wall.
