A warm smoked glass drum with a brushed brass cylinder suspended inside it, so the brass glows through the glass and the lamp itself never shows. This is the 23cm shade, sold as a set of two.

The glass is smoked to a warm grey tone, thick enough to hold its colour when unlit, and the inner brass cylinder does the work a shade normally does. Light leaves downward through the open base and the rest is filtered through the tinted wall of the glass, which is what makes this warm rather than bright. The stem and ceiling plate are brushed brass to match the fitting inside. This listing is the 23cm shade; shade shapes vary across the smoked and cognac range, from a tall rounded drum to a wide shallow bowl.
