A short cylinder of polished black and ivory marble that lights from the inside, so the veining shows as pale rivers through a warm glow.

Stone this thin transmits light rather than blocking it, which is the whole trick: unlit it reads as a small solid object on a bedside table, lit it turns translucent and the mineral veining becomes the pattern. The surface is polished smooth on the outside and the piece is cut from natural black and ivory marble, so no two are alike in figure or in colour. It is small, roughly the size of a candle in the photograph, and it throws a warm low light rather than anything you could read by. The light can be set to a warm white glow or a shifting multicoloured setting.

Where it works: on a bedside table, a hallway console, or a shelf where a small warm glow does more than a lamp would.

What comes in the box is listed on every product page under What is included. Most fittings arrive without a bulb so you can choose the brightness and warmth yourself. Some carry an integrated LED instead, and a few items are a shade or a bulb on their own.

If you need conformity documentation for a particular fitting, ask before you order and we will request it from the supplier. We do not make a blanket compliance claim across the range, because the paperwork varies by item.
