A single koi fish takes shape from dozens of thin, textured wood pieces, each one catching the light like a scale or feather, glowing warm from within. This listing is the 250cm drop.

The sculpture is built from dozens of thin, textured wood veneer pieces layered over a frame in a sculptural pose, so the whole form reads as a fish caught mid-swim, fins trailing behind it. An integrated LED lights the piece from inside, so the layered edges glow amber against the dark gaps between them. This fish hangs on a 250cm drop; several can be hung together at staggered heights and drop lengths for a fuller, shoal-like effect, as shown in the reference photography.

Where it works: as a single sculptural drop in a stairwell or double-height hallway, or as a statement piece in a dining room.
