Ramtin Pendant Light

Three fabric drums of decreasing size stacked one inside the next at 70cm overall, threaded on a dark turned wood stem, so the light escapes as three soft rings rather than one.

Each tier is a plain cream drum in a coarse natural weave, and because they sit at different diameters and different heights the light leaves in stepped bands, softening as it drops. At 70cm this is the largest size in the range, a statement piece for a high ceiling or a large dining table. The whole stack hangs from a pale cord with a turned dark wood finial at the top and another at the base, which is the only hard detail on an otherwise soft fitting.

Where it works: centred in a bedroom, over a low table in a living room, or above a table in a dining room where the diffused light suits a long sitting.

What comes in the box is listed on every product page under What is included. Most fittings arrive without a bulb so you can choose the brightness and warmth yourself. Some carry an integrated LED instead, and a few items are a shade or a bulb on their own.
