Gorgan Pendant Light

A clean glass globe pendant light in clear glass, on a slim rigid brass rod, with the bulb showing through.

The globe is a single blown sphere clamped into a brass collar at the top, and the lamp sits dead centre inside it. Because the glass is clear rather than opal, you see the filament through it, so the bulb you choose changes the look of the fitting completely. The rod is brass and rigid, which holds the globe at a fixed height and keeps the drop dead straight rather than letting it swing. Clear glass gives the sharpest sparkle of the range, throwing the least filtered light.

Where it works: in a row over a kitchen island, above a dining table, or as a pair of bedside drops in place of table lamps.
