A flat disc shade sits at a deliberate angle atop a bottle-shaped white marble column, battery powered on a brass neck joint.

The shade is a wide, flat white disc set at a tilt rather than square to the column, a considered asymmetry that keeps the piece from reading as a plain mushroom lamp. It is joined by a short brass collar to a marble column shaped like a rounded bottle, cut from white-veined stone. It runs cordless on its own battery, so there is no cable to route.

Where it works: a bedside table or console, especially where there is no convenient socket, since it runs cordless.
