The shade is built from individual glass panels in a soft floral texture, cream toned, framed into a dome shape with dark metal banding at each seam. Below it, a turned antique brass baluster column carries two pull chains for the switch, a mechanical detail that suits the traditional character of the shade above it. It is a considered, decorative piece for a room that already leans toward pattern.
