A wide 28cm amber glass shade in a flattened ellipse sits under a turned dark wood neck with a brass collar, hung on a braided cable.

The glass is a soft amber tone with a fine fluted texture at the rim, blown into a flattened oval that spreads light sideways rather than down in a single pool. Above it a turned wood neck, waisted like an old spinning top, connects to a small brass collar, the one metal detail on an otherwise wood and glass fitting, and a braided cable. It sits comfortably in a room with other warm materials such as rattan, linen or oak, rather than reading as a purely metal and glass fitting.

Where it works: over a dining table in a row above a kitchen island or singly over a reading corner.

What comes in the box is listed on every product page under What is included. Most fittings arrive without a bulb so you can choose the brightness and warmth yourself. Some carry an integrated LED instead, and a few items are a shade or a bulb on their own.

If you need conformity documentation for a particular fitting, ask before you order and we will request it from the supplier. We do not make a blanket compliance claim across the range, because the paperwork varies by item.
