A shallow saucer of woven rattan, spun into a fine radial weave that spreads light sideways across a ceiling rather than dropping it into a pool, 100cm from ceiling rose to rim.

The weave runs in fine straight spokes from a small central hub out to the rim, so the whole disc reads as one continuous surface instead of a basket. Because the shade is shallow and wide open at the rim, most of the output is thrown up and outward onto the ceiling, and the lamp sits far enough inside the cone that it is never seen from a sofa. The rattan is left unstained in its natural colour, which is why it shifts through the day, warm and honeyed at night and almost pale in flat daylight. It hangs on a thin cord from a small ceiling rose, so despite its span it looks close to weightless in a room.

Where it works: centred in a living room above a seating group, or over a dining room table in a room with the ceiling height to carry its span.

What comes in the box is listed on every product page under What is included. Most fittings arrive without a bulb so you can choose the brightness and warmth yourself. Some carry an integrated LED instead, and a few items are a shade or a bulb on their own.
