Yazdan Wall Light

A shallow brass dome on the end of a long thin arm, hooked over a wood wall mount, with a plug and an in-line switch on the flex. Sold as a set of two, so a matching pair arrives in one order. It reaches out over a chair or a bed without any wiring work.

The arm is a slim steel rod with a single bend near the shade, hung from a peg on a flat wooden plate so it can be swung along the wall rather than fixed in one position. The shade is a half dome in gloss brass with a pale interior, angled to throw light down and forward, which makes it a reading light rather than a decorative one. Because it runs on a plug and a switched flex, it can go on a wall with no supply behind it, which is the whole argument for a fitting like this in a rented room or a finished wall.

Where it works: at bedside height over a bed as a reading light, above an armchair in a reading corner, or over a desk in a home office.

The flex hangs down the wall to a plug, which is what saves you an electrician but does mean a visible cable. Plan the drop to a socket before you fix the mount, and the bulb is not included.

What comes in the box is listed on every product page under What is included. Most fittings arrive without a bulb so you can choose the brightness and warmth yourself. Some carry an integrated LED instead, and a few items are a shade or a bulb on their own.

If you need conformity documentation for a particular fitting, ask before you order and we will request it from the supplier. We do not make a blanket compliance claim across the range, because the paperwork varies by item.
