Absard Pendant Light

A drum shade wound entirely in natural jute rope, finished in a natural tone, hung from a black flex cable in a simple suspension, so the light glows warm through the gaps between each wound strand.

The drum shade is built from perforated jute rope wound around a frame rather than a woven mat, so the surface has real material texture and small gaps that let warm light escape between the strands. Lit, it reads as a soft golden glow rather than a hard silhouette; unlit, it is a plain natural drum with visible rope texture. The flex cable and ceiling plate are both black, kept deliberately plain so the natural shade stays the focus, and the suspension drop suits a bedroom as readily as a living room corner.

Where it works: above a bedside table in the bedroom, low over a corner in the living room, or anywhere a single warm drop of light is wanted.

What comes in the box is listed on every product page under What is included. Most fittings arrive without a bulb so you can choose the brightness and warmth yourself. Some carry an integrated LED instead, and a few items are a shade or a bulb on their own.
