The shade is a shallow, wide drum in white fabric, diffusing the light evenly across its whole surface rather than letting it show as a single bright point. A slim brushed brass stem carries the shade up from a square stone-effect base. A pull chain hangs from beneath the shade, an old-fashioned detail that suits the lamp's tall, upright shape.

Where it works: at the bedside, on a console table, or beside a living room sofa where the pull chain is easy to reach.

What comes in the box is listed on every product page under What is included. Most fittings arrive without a bulb so you can choose the brightness and warmth yourself. Some carry an integrated LED instead, and a few items are a shade or a bulb on their own.
