The orb is built from small faceted crystal-effect pieces set closely together to form a solid sphere, so it catches the light from every angle rather than showing a single hot spot. It hangs on an adjustable brass chain below a decorative ceiling rose that adds a period touch even before the light is switched on. It works as a single accent point rather than a room's main light, suited to a spot where you want a small, decorative flourish.

What comes in the box is listed on every product page under What is included. Most fittings arrive without a bulb so you can choose the brightness and warmth yourself. Some carry an integrated LED instead, and a few items are a shade or a bulb on their own.
